As a founding member of Puffworks, I have helped the company achieve nearly $2M in annual revenue. I have been involved in every aspect of the company since itβs inception β spearheading marketing and sales efforts both online and at retail, assisting with production logistics, packaging and R&D efforts, as well as investment pitches. I have a better understanding of the CPG space and have learned to think creatively and strategically, while also learning to be nimble and pivot when needed.
I had the privilege of working with food commodity boards through my time at a boutique food agency in Portland. I helped plan and execute media tours and opportunities to obtain press coverage on behalf of clients, like this Cooking Light feature done during a media lunch at the Meredith Test Kitchens or this Saveur article. I was also instrumental in coordinating events on behalf of our partners to help encourage creative uses of ingredients for consumers and chefs alike (Blended Burgers, anyone?).
I moved sight-unseen to Portland for a job at WE, working on behalf of Microsoft. I was a part of the Office 365 launch, and then pivoted to a business development role for the agency helping us expand into other industries, like auto and healthcare. As a passion project during my stint at WE, I also started a pretzel blog/page, which was a fun outlet that allowed me to hone my tech skills, while also giving me a glimpse into the food space - both of which would come in handy!
